In Loving Memory of our beloved sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend...

In Memory of You

I find an old photograph and see your smile.

As I feel your presence anew,
I am filled with warmth

and my heart remembers love. I read an old card sent many years ago

during a time of turmoil and confusion. The soothing words written

then still caress my spirit and bring me peace.

I remember who you used to be the laughter

we shared and wonder what you have become.
Where are you now,

Where did you go,

When the body is left behind and the spirit is released to fly?

Perhaps you are the morning bird singing joyfully at sunrise, or the butterfly

that dances so carelessly on the breeze or the rainbow of colors

that brightens a stormy sky or the fingers of afternoon mist

delicately reaching over the mountains or the final few rays of the setting sun

lighting up the skies edging the clouds with a magical glow.

I miss your being but I feel your presence,

In whatever form you choose to take, however you now choose to be.

Your spirit has become for me a guardian angel on high guiding,

advising, and watching over me.

I remember you.
You are with me and I am not afraid.

If Roses Grew In Heaven

If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me,

Place them in my niece Meleny's arms and tell her they're from me.

Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day,

but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.

Happy Angelversary to my sister Carmen,

One whole year has past by and I still remember my sister Carmen was so full of life, always smiling, loved to go dancing and overall had a very energetic personality.  This of course was before she got sick with her Cancer. May perpetual light shine upon my sister Carmen and may she be resting in peace in Thy Heavenly Kingdom with our Lord, her son Jason and love ones. Carmen, Jason, my son Jacob, and so many love ones have left to pave the path for us and are forever in our hearts and prayers.  Forever in our heartsÉ Love your sister, Ada

P.S. Remembering the Abraham siblings when we were whole, until we meet together again. RIP

Mother
"In my heart your memory lingers, sweetly, tender and true.  There is not a day, dear daughter, that I do not think of you."  Te quiro como siempre te quise, my hija querida.  Que Dios te bendiga y que siga cuidandote hasta que yo este contigo otra vez. Tu triste madre.

Sister
"One year ago, 4/3/08, on this day the one we loved was called away.  God took her home, it was His will, but in our hearts she lives still."  Carmen, I miss you dearly and in my heart I feel you calling me and missing me too, but one day we will be together again.  Love you, Leidy
